As a total newbie to the world of open source CMS, I am leaning toward Joomla for the redesign of our non-profit's website (www.cesj.org), as it seems to have the best combination of usability (particularly from the standpoint of non-techies handling content management) and flexibility (allowing us to add dynamic functions over time). Since we're probably going to turn to professionals for the design and structuring of the new site, I could also use some guidance on locating the best (preferably local) professionals for our project and level of resources. The advice I have been getting, over and over, is "join a Joomla users' group." Hope the kind people in this group can help me start this journey on the right foot!
