Tessa Mero, Developer Advocate for Joomla!, and member of a Joomla! project leadership team, will bring us up to date on plans for Joomla! 4.   She says:

Joomla 4 is on its way, the future is at hand. Even as we prepare for its arrival, we as a community need to look at where we are, and what the future holds for us. Join me for a peek behind the scenes of the Joomla! Project. See how things operate, and how you can be a part of it. The future looks bright for the Joomla! project. Join me and I'll show you how you can play your part in that future, don't forget your shades.

Tessa is a college instructor, teaching web application development.  She is the organizer of the Seattle Joomla! Meetup, and the organizer for the Seattle PHP Meetup and a PHP Conference.  She is also a snowboarder and enjoys traveling, speaking, and playing video games with her children. Answers about the Certification Team, answered by Sarah Watz:

Question: If you have an online badge, is it going to link to your name to a repository of all the certified joomla people so there's actual proof?
Answer: there will be a connection of the online badge to a list of certified people on the certification.joomla.org where there will be more information about the certification that was past etc.

Question: Can companies get certified rather than individuals? There is a lady who is interested in getting her business joomla certified
Answer: No you will not be able to certifiy a business. you can on your business page have a list with your team an show the badges / certs that they past. Since it's a knowledge based cert it is a person that has that knowledge not a coporation.
